So, as you know by my previous posts, I'm officially done with middle school. Which is, in itself, fantabulous (that's a funny nonexistent word). But, even better, is that summer comes right after it. In Oregon, I don't really know if you can call it summer. Yeah, it's a little warmer outside, but it's not like there's ninety degree heat for a week straight. It's July, for cryin' out loud! SO...yup, 'summer.' Let me work my way backwards on this. Because, y'know, I never blog anymore, I have to let everybody know everything about my life no matter how long the post is. Haha. Remember forever ago when I posted about going to the fish hatchery. It must've been three or four years ago. That's really qualifies as forever. Well, we went again the other day. It was nice, sunny, there were ducks. There were fish. Definitely lots of fish. How did your mom do in the marathon? I can't believe people can run 26 miles either. I have been walking and playing racquetball (of course), but I could never run 26 miles.
Buddy is still alive (don't look so surprised.) I learned something new about him: in the evening after he wakes up, he likes to climb all around the bars of the cage and bite them. He still just sits there if you put him in his ball, however.
I went on vacation to the Klamath Falls area and saw white pelicans and a bald eagle. I read that you are drawing horses, but are you still interested in birds? We also saw a robin's nest with some juvenile robins in it. We said "don't they look old enough to leave the nest?" and the next day they were gone! We also went by Crater Lake, and it was sooooooo beautiful we could hardly believe it was real. I will keep checking your blog.
