Girls Camp

Since my moM never posts aNymore (cough cough) I guess that it's my rEsponsibility to fill in for her. EvEn though noboDy even readS my blog anymore. I'm randomly capitalizing leTters for fun, sO don't Pay any attentiOn to that. I came back from GirlS Camp last week. It was all rainy and gloomy, so iT wasn't as fun as my first yeAr. Whatever, it doesn't matter because it was still pretty awesome anyway.  The first day the second years went raftinG. Unfortuanately, it rained that day and it was freezing. Brrr! I feel bAd for the people who rafted on Tuesday because my sister has an otter pop problem. Totally unrelated story, sorry. But they had to raft in the POURING RAIN. The highlight of Tuesday: I can't remember. It was a pretty long day. But then again, they all were. Monday night I remember we played glow in the dark capture the flag. My team won. It was kind of funny (yet aggrIvating) that t...

Writer? Pianist? Singer? Huh?

I really don't know where to start with this post. Maybe about the title...it's kind of confusing to explain. So why don't I go back and describe them bit by bit. WRITER This year I've been especially in to writing. Not essays or anything. But REAL novel writing hard core writing. I guess I've been on and off with it since fourth grade. This happens to be my longest 'on' time that produces my best work. There are (I swear) a billion ideas saved to my computer that could sprout into something huge. Not that I can really see my name on a book yet in my head, but I can't help but wondering if this is what I'm growing up to be. With even more writing, I started experimenting writing songs. Like with lyrics, piano accompniant. It actually happens to be really fun, though frustrating when it comes to a composing block. I've come up with some really great songs too. My hardest worked on piece is 'Dance Alone'. PIANIST You may have heard of my....

Middle School

I have not blogged in lets see....... six months! I will try harder from now on. I think you are all aware that I started middle school a couple of months ago. Middle school is actually easier than I thought ( dramatic wise). At the same time though it is tough ( homework wise). I think the biggest drag is the first two periods- science and advanced math-but my favorite two periods are humanities! Humanities is my iron spot, it involves language arts ( reading and writing) and social studies ( my worst subject). When I started to get lonely I befriended Tayler Miller ( 8th period choir), yesterday I went to the movies to see Secretariet with her ( ps...... that is the BEST movie!).

news

i haven't blogged in a while! sorry about that! today i am at grandma and grandma Dow's house. yesterday i had an awesome time at Roaring Springs! Beach (Ocean Mostly)

2 hours ago I got home from the beach. It was really fun. Dad let me play his IPhone and Alexis saved my life. ( I was shocked.) Korynn got a kitten on my new game and I just had a great time. On day 1 we went to the mall. Mom got me a book called Ellissa's Quest because I kept saying I was bored. The toy store is no longer at the outlets and the kids were disappointed. We stopped at Rocky Mountains Chocolate Factory that only opens when it feels like it. Gavin and I both had a chocolate covered marshmallow. Alexis and Korynn split a Carmel apple. Mom rented Imagine That and Wizards Of Waverly Place The Movie. We watched Wizards Of Waverly Place then went to bed. The second day was amazing. We went to the beach. Except, it wasn't beach. It was all ocean. The ocean had come so far up no one dared to go down on it. That night we watched The Great Outdoors. There was a high wind warning during the movie. We all heard the wind. Then dad asked if it was what he thought it was. Mom ...

Cristmas Day Has Come, And With It Anonther Long Wait.

That is right! For Christmas I got a Nintendo DS! That's a hand held game system. And a speaker for my iPOD that is really cute. Plus billions of new clothes. You cannot call this a bad Christmas! Alexis got a electric keyboard that I am kind of jealous of, but I would not be able to stand it if she had the DS and I had the piano. That really would not work out. Gavin got a Hermit Crab he named Hermy from Uncle Brandon. I am jealous of that too. He has a tiger shell. ( I will post pictures of all these thing later.) And last but not least Korynn got a WebkinzJR. That is a Webkinz but is bigger and for littler kids. Do NOT whatever you do tell Korynn I said she was little. She thinks she is older than all of us. Apparently Alexis is the littlest! I hope you all had a nice Christmas too. Merry Christmas!

Busy Saturday

Today is a very busy day. Mom has Young Women leader training. I have Laura's birthday party at Mt. Hood Lanes to go to. I also have to go to a stake Daddy Daughter swim party. Since dad is out hunting I am trying to get Uncle Brandon to go with me. He does not think he can. By the way, I have only been typing for two minutes, aren't I getting fast? Right now I am at my grandma's house until eleven. We have played Trouble and watched Annie on TV. And I almost forgot that I finished the Book fair poster for my school. Grandma helped me. I just asked Uncle Brandon. He cannot garuntee anything. But he might be able to take me for half an hour!

True Or False?

Does Phillip (The guy I have liked since 2nd grade) like me? Does Lexie like to mak me mad? Have I pulled away from Kallisa? ( I hope not!) Will my camera ever charge again? Will I pass the geography test tommorow? (geograpy is one of my least favorite subjects) Will mom put my book report book on hold for me? ( Monthly 5th grade book reports) Will I get better at soccer? Will I ever get a piano teacher again? Will mom and dad sign me up for soccer again next year when I am good enough and it's not for nothing? Will my mother ever find out that I hate science fiction books? (BLAH)

B-DAY!

TODAY IS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is my tenth birthday today. I have no idea what I want, but Sister Roads (my church teacher) and the primary have spoiled me with sweets! I had 3 cupcakes yesterday and a Snickers bar today!!!!! And you can't forget about the cake later, now can we? The kids keep on saying that we are going bowling. If we do it will be soooooooo fun! I can't wait. Chloe Mathis went to the bowling alley for her 10th birthday. It was so much fun! And Laura Rizzo took me once. I am the only child in the family who has gone bowling before. I have not seen or talked to my best friend, Kallisa Gallahger in forever! Not since last day of school. I have tried 3 times now to call her home phone but I am pretty sure she is out of town. Luckily Makenna Gallagher gave me Kallisa's cell phone number (yes she and her sister have a cell phone). Sad thing is mom says I can't call it. If we are going bowling I would love to take her! If I take anyone now, it would de...

did you look out your window last night and see the space station? If you did not I was a witness. it was s oooooooooooooooo cool. I mean if your a space-lover it is. and I just happen to love space! I mean getting stay up so that I could go outside and see it is a privlege. here is the story: i was watching the news. On the news it said that at 9:28 a space station would flying over Portland, Oregon. Which is not where live. But I live close to Portland so we just went with that city name. so, i was outside and was trying to figure which way north-east is. then dad came out and showed mom where north-east was just on time. without Super Dad we would not have seen the station.

Weekend

My mom is running the Rock and Roll Seatle Marathon today. She left yesterdat and now us kids are at grandmas. I have been drawing alot and grandma is helping me. She has given me 4 drawing books. Two horse ones and dog one. Grandma Arnold gave me a bird one. Grandma Howlege has even given me a huge sketch book to use at her house. She wants me to start drawing bigger. So far I have finished a Thoroughbred and a Paint. I am working on a picture of two horses nose to nose. We just came back from a walk. We walked to the Gordon Russel Middle School track. The track is a quarter mile. I went around it once. I burst at the begging. Afterward grandma gave me advice. She said I should pace myself. And then when I have enough stamina I can start going for speed. Thanks Grandma! Go MOM! I can't believe it is 26 miles!

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wahkeena Falls Last we went to ice scream. It was Dairy Queen. Sorry, this won't be in order! this is Wakeena Falls ( sp?). it was the first fall that we went to. We were hiking on the Multnomah Falls trail and came across this little cave! This is me looking down from the top of the Multnomah Falls Trail! We actually made it to the top! Mom had to carry someone almost the whole time. But it was worth it! I had never been past the bridge before! This calls for some leg aches!

SUPER WEEKEND! AND MAYBE NOT THE 1ST!

Hey, I am finally here! Yeah, weekly blogging hasn't been doing to well. Well, I'm back on track! Carnival was first. We went to the carnival as a family event. It was so fun! first we ate dinner. I had a hot dog, cheetos, a juice. Everybody else had that, except for Korrynn. She had Lays. Then we played cake walk. Emily Jr. ( as my grandma Holwege calls her), won the first time. Because I pulled her number, of course! It was time for me to go jumprope. We were 1 minute late, so I didn't do single rope. I'm not the kind that would just burst into a wedding 5 minutes late. Even if people thought I had something special to do. Like a presentation of something. I waited for it to be over. Then it was double dutch. Because Kallisa really needed me to be part of her team mom said I could double ducth! She only had 2 people on her team: her and a boy named Haden. Kallisa jumped in first. Then Haden. Then I went. I tried something new and went super ...
