space station blues

did you look out your window last night and see the space station? If you did not I was a witness.
it was soooooooooooooooo cool. I mean if your a space-lover it is. and I just happen to love space! I mean getting stay up so that I could go outside and see it is a privlege.
here is the story:
i was watching the news. On the news it said that at 9:28 a space station would flying over Portland, Oregon. Which is not where live. But I live close to Portland so we just went with that city name.
so, i was outside and was trying to figure which way north-east is. then dad came out and showed mom where north-east was just on time. without Super Dad we would not have seen the station.

How fun! I remember when we could call a number and it would let you listen to a satelite as it went around Pluto. Ask your mom, she might remember.

Cool! I wish I would have seen it. Thanks for all your help with the boys when we were visiting, they loved it..you're getting to be so old!

The Greenway Gifts The News Paper For Kids!

Ever seen Th e Greenway Gifts? Of course you haven't! It is the news paper that I write! I didn't know that I was good at journalism until now. Today I started eavesdropping with Helen. While we were eavesdropping we came across two little bugs. So I made a story in the paper that is called Bugs In Business. Hey, Grandma are you having a good time in Colorado? I sure hope so! I have already drawn tons of horses out of that book! There goes Mr. Bigs! Yesterday I had to let him go. It was so sad to see my little baby go out into the world to fend for himself!
