beach, my first vacation this summer!

giant (not very) shark. we went to the aquarium yesterday
it was so fun!! this is one of the many pictures I took. since it
only lets you have so many pictures on one post I'll post some
more in another post. check out that 6-gill shark!


Yaquima Bay lighthouse was being worked on when were
there. remodled. inside ( yeah there were tons of people
there) we looked at roped-off bedrooms . it was a historical
trip!

look at how deep I can dig all by myself during a half an
hour! water deep! it was getting wet, then there was water
now that I think of it when you are walking on sand your walking on water!

Who is laughing now?


we spent sunday monday tuesday and half of wednesday at the beach. it was sooooooooooooo fun. check out the pictures. Mom woke me up at 7:00 a.m. to go to the tidepools. I was the only kid who got to go. for mom and grandma(grandma went too) it was pretty much a jog. we walked
around the block to the beach. when we hit the beach we jogged all the way down to the tide pools. we stopped at the tidepools, grandma stayed with me and we looked at the tide pools. by
the way, we go to Nelscott Beach. there were tons of starfish! I saved one. It was laying in the sand, grandma told me to put it in the water. when I put it in the water it gave me a seashell. okat, I admit it, I layed it down next to the seashell.
I had a blizzard for desert last night!

I love the beach - I'm glad you had a good time. Next time we go hopefully it will be a nice minus tide and we can find some cool stuff in the tidepools.

Mountain To Climb

Middle school. How do I want remember it? The first day, where I was scared to death only to realize the world can't be that big? Or the second day when the rest of school came and were twice my size? Possibly the last day of the first year where I set a school geography record. Today, maybe? Yesterday? The Friday before that? Now that it's over--officially over--and I'm a high schooler, it all seems like some weird dream. A dream with nasty food, people who tried to feed me information I'll probably never need again, and people who stuck with me the whole time. Full Fledged Summer!! :) Whoopee!

So, as you know by my previous posts, I'm officially done with middle school. Which is, in itself, fantabulous (that's a funny nonexistent word). But, even better, is that summer comes right after it. In Oregon, I don't really know if you can call it summer. Yeah, it's a little warmer outside, but it's not like there's ninety degree heat for a week straight. It's July, for cryin' out loud! SO...yup, 'summer.' Let me work my way backwards on this. Because, y'know, I never blog anymore, I have to let everybody know everything about my life no matter how long the post is. Haha. Remember forever ago when I posted about going to the fish hatchery.
